The 35th AJCCBC Cybersecurity Technical Training

During the week of 17th to 21st February 2025, AJCCBC hosted the ’35th AJCCBC Technical Cybersecurity Training’ in Bangkok, Thailand, concentrating on penetration testing, based on CompTIA’s PenTest+ examination. This training was attended by 20 cybersecurity professionals from ASEAN countries.
 
The participants underwent four and a half days of intensive training before taking the exam on the final day. The examination aimed to provide exposure to an internationally recognized certification and attempt to increase certified professionals in the region.
 
Maj. Gen. Teerawut Wittayakorn, the Deputy Secretary General, Thailand’s National Cyber Security Agency (NCSA) had an honor to provide closing remarks, along with a representative from the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC), Japan – Ms. Yoshioka Sawako.
 
Both representatives emphasized the importance of cybersecurity in today’s borderless digital world and the critical role of penetration testing. They additionally highlighted the significance of regional networking, which led to the NCSA hosting a networking session at the end of the training.
