“Team ASEAN” unites young cyber talents on the global stage at the International Cybersecurity Challenge (ICC) 2025!
For the first time, Team ASEAN is proudly joining the International Cybersecurity Challenge (ICC 2025) in Japan. The team, consisting of 17 team players, was established through a joint collaboration between the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), the National Cyber Security Agency (NCSA) of Thailand, AJCCBC and leading cybersecurity communities across the region — including 2600 Thailand, Lao Cybersecurity Community (LCSC), SherpaSec (Malaysia), Div0 (Singapore), and VNsecurity (Vietnam).
To show support and encouragement for the team, AVM Amorn Chomchoey, Secretary General of the NCSA traveled to Tokyo to attend the opening ceremony and cheer on the ASEAN representatives in person.
This initiative represents a significant milestone in strengthening cybersecurity cooperation between ASEAN member states and Japan, while empowering the next generation of ASEAN youth to become future leaders in global cybersecurity.
The team finished sixth among eight participating teams.
