On 26 November, AVM. Amorn Chomchoey, the Secretary General of the National Cyber Security Agency (NCSA) of Thailand had the honor to provide opening addresses, along with Chargé d’affaires of Ms. Miriam Otto at a reception hosted by the Embassy of the Netherlands in Thailand to commemorate the collaboration between the Government of the Netherlands, the Government of Japan, and AJCCBC for a training program on Critical Infrastructure (CI) protection and OT Security, held from 25 to 29 November 2024 in Bangkok.
The reception was held to formally welcome participants from ASEAN countries and Timor-Leste to the training. It also served as a platform for cybersecurity professionals and diplomats to network and exchange ideas, fostering collaboration within the region.
Recognizing the importance of CI Protection and OT Security, the five-day training program focused on understanding the significance of OT security, along with essential theoretical and practical knowledge, skills, and awareness related to CI and cybersecurity.
The sessions were led by experts from the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) of the Netherlands, KPMG the Netherlands, S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS), and the Information-Technology Protection Agency (IPA), Japan.
The training was successfully completed on 29 November with the closing remarks from representatives of NCSA, JICA, and NCSC.
