Fifth Joint Coordinating Committee (JCC) Meeting

Chaired by AVM Amorn Chomchoey, Secretary General of the National Cyber Security Agency (NCSA), the Fifth Joint Coordinating Committee (JCC) Meeting of the AJCCBC project was held on 3rd September 2025 at CAO Meeting Room 1, NCSA.
 
The meeting was convened by representatives from the ASEAN Secretariat (ASEC), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan (MOFA), the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications of Japan (MIC), the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand (MFA), and the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society (MDES) of Thailand, and NCSA.
 
The meeting reviewed the project’s achievements over the past six months (March–August 2025) and discussed plans to further enhance capacity-building activities. These include collaboration with external institutes to develop materials for additional training to meet evolving needs.
 
Held every six months, the JCC Meeting marks a key milestone as the project now passes the halfway point of its four-year implementation. As of August 2025, the AJCCBC project welcomed over 2,000 cybersecurity professionals and enthusiasts from ASEAN Member States to its events, continuing to strengthen regional cooperation in cybersecurity.
