The AJCCBC under the management of the National Cyber Security Agency (NCSA) of Thailand and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) is honored to partner with Embassy of Canada to Thailand to provide a cybersecurity training on “Cloud Security: AZ-500” to the ASEAN Countries in Bangkok, from 22nd to 25th April 2024. This collaborative capacity building training program is implemented based on the needs of the region and is supported under the Canada’s Indo-Pacific Strategy.
The program began with welcoming remarks by Mr. Michael Stocker, First Secretary, Embassy of Canada to Thailand and Major General Teerawut Wittayakorn, Deputy Secretary General, NCSA and the Head of AJCCBC.
In addition to the technical training, the Embassy of Canada arranged a reception to serve as a networking and info-sharing platform for cybersecurity professionals and diplomats. The reception commenced with opening remarks by Ambassador of Canada to Thailand Ping Kitnikone and AVM Amorn Chomchoey, the Secretary General of the NCSA. Both emphasized the importance of cybersecurity, international cooperation, and building people-to-people connections.
