AJCCBC successfully conducted the AJCCBC Cybersecurity Technical Training 44 on Advanced Malware Analysis from 24 to 28 August 2026 at the NCSA premises in Bangkok.
The five-day programme brought together 22 cybersecurity professionals from nine ASEAN Member States. It was designed to enhance technical knowledge and practical capabilities in advanced malware analysis, supporting participants in detecting, analysing, and responding to increasingly sophisticated and rapidly evolving cyber threats.
The training provided participants with opportunities to deepen their understanding of advanced malware-analysis techniques and share practical experience and best practices with cybersecurity professionals across the region. Through this exchange, the programme contributed to strengthening regional preparedness and promoting closer cooperation in cybersecurity incident response.
The closing ceremony was presided over by AVM Amorn Chomchoey, Secretary General of the National Cyber Security Agency (NCSA) of Thailand. In his remarks, he highlighted the importance of continuous cybersecurity workforce development and international cooperation in strengthening the region’s collective ability to prevent, detect, and respond to cyber threats.
A networking reception was also hosted by NCSA, providing participants and relevant stakeholders with an opportunity to build professional connections, exchange perspectives, and reinforce cooperation among ASEAN Member States and Japan.
