The five-day “AJCCBC 42nd Cybersecurity Technical Training” programme on advanced network forensics concluded successfully on 22 May 2026, following an intensive series of technical sessions attended by 20 cybersecurity practitioners from across the ASEAN region. Throughout the training, participants strengthened practical skills in network forensics, contributing to improved readiness in cyber incident response and forensic operations.
The closing ceremony featured remarks by AVM Amorn Chomchoey, Secretary General of Thailand’s National Cyber Security Agency (NCSA) and Mr. Yamazaki Hiroto, Program Manager for the AJCCBC and Senior Advisor for Cybersecurity at JICA HQs.
The speakers expressed appreciation for the joint implementation of the AJCCBC project by the Government of Thailand and the Government of Japan through JICA and acknowledged the continued support that made the programme possible.
Speakers further reflected on the demanding nature of the programme, noting the high level of participation in both technical exercises and discussions. Beyond the technical outcomes, the training was also highlighted as an important platform for knowledge exchange and the development of professional networks among regional cybersecurity practitioners.
In addition, a networking reception, hosted by NCSA and chaired by Captain Sirinate Rugvong, Senior Advisor, was also held on 19 May 2026, providing an opportunity for participants, instructors, and organizers to further strengthen professional ties and regional cooperation.
